Lena Angelina von Almen

Lena comes from Switzerland, from the Bernese Oberland. She started playing the piano at an early age before discovering her love for the cello at the age of 6. She received lessons from Albert Sidler (piano) and Matthias Schranz (cello), where she was accepted into the Talentförderung Musik (TFM). During her education she played in various chamber music and orchestra formations, also as a soloist.
After graduating from high school, she began her studies at the Hochschule der Künste Bern with Professor Antonio Meneses and will complete her Bachelor's degree in the summer of 2022.
She attended master classes with Marek Jerie, Alexei Stadler and Antonio Meneses, performed as a soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra Budweis and played in the Zentralschweizer Jugendsinfonieorchester, the Camerata Sigriswil and in various chamber music formations.
